The Banyan Tree

Sixth Sense Festival · Bangalore · 2026

A ten-metre tree built from the things we have taken into our identity — windows, mirrors, lights, smoke and lasers. Symmetry holds its posture, asymmetry gives it character, and no two angles read alike.

Lidar watched the room. What people did became sound, and sound became light, so the piece was played by the crowd and no two moments repeated. For the live shows it took timecode instead.

A digital homage to Bengaluru’s legendary Dodda Alada Mara, it felt almost extraterrestrial, its aerial roots subtly reacting to the people moving around it.Rolling Stone India

Wiese 2025 - The Temple

Garbicz Festival · Poland · 2025

A cliff of orthogonal blocks stepped out over the meadow, restoring the ancient ruins into a sanctuary of magnificent prowess. Fractured stone exposes metallic foils that reflect the forest, the audience, and the light back onto themselves, while electric blue and orange energy bursts through every seam.

In daylight it is dynamic architecture framing the treeline. After dark, the heavy structural framework disappears, leaving a floating central altar and glowing volumes that draw the dance floor into a single synchronized experience.

"What began as an expedition into forgotten forest ruins evolved into a sanctuary of pure light, where structure and human presence reflect back into one another."Stephen Bontly — Lead Designer, UP Deko

Wiese 2026 - The Ascension

Garbicz Festival · Poland · 2026

Stepping through the core of the sanctuary, the architecture shatters into a single, suspended instant of hyper-dimensional explosion. The internal geometry tilts and rotates 45 degrees, exposing its underbelly to the crowd in a space drenched in smooth gradients of the sunset.

Crowning the experience is an inverted 1.5-meter central pyramid activated by lasers, optical prisms, and projected light. Sweeping fabric panels and an overhanging facade extend two meters over the dance floor, suspending the environment in pure kinetic transcendence.

"We entered the center of the temple and suspended time—a frozen moment where massive macro-forms and infinite micro-details break your perception of space."Stephen Bontly — Lead Designer, UP Deko
